Our Firm
Justin Huxol, founder of HUXHUX Design Inc, received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He has worked professionally for Rem Koolhaas at OMA Rotterdam, REX, Bill Price, MOS-Office, Preston Scott Cohen, and William Rawn Associates in Boston. Before his architectural education, he worked as a Research & Publications Coordinator at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government & a researcher at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Environmental Studies. Justin taught Interior Design studios for five years at Parsons New School for Design. He has guest lectured at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, Parsons New School for Design, and New York School of Interior Design.

Our Process
At HUXHUX Design Inc, we have a deep passion for a variety of styles, but we never let style limit our work. We believe that style should result from the design process, not drive it. Our goal is to create design solutions that go beyond initial ideas and embrace the transformative power of well-designed spaces. We see constraints, such as budgets, building codes, schedules, and site limitations, as opportunities to customize our designs. For each project, we start by listening to our clients' core questions and concerns. We don't believe in pre-determined solutions or accepting things as given. Instead, we work closely with our clients to ensure that our designs are effective from every angle. As your designers, we take responsibility for every aspect of the design process, including scope definition, project scheduling, contracts, procurement, and construction oversight. We understand that design can be both specific and mundane, and we are dedicated to exploring every detail and parameter to develop insightful solutions that bring out unexpected possibilities or reinforce conventions with thoughtful conviction.
